A bit of backstory…
Let's go back in time…
I grew up in the vibrant city of Hanoi, Vietnam where colours and stories shaped how I view the world. Ever since I was a kid, I have always loved design and creative storytelling! I used to spend summers reading Crayon Shin-Chan and drawing Adventure Time characters in my little sketch book.
How it started
During my studies at the University of Sydney, learning about how creativity intersects with technology sparked my interest in Interaction Design. Throughout my journey, I’ve been lucky to be surrounded by incredible individuals, from peers who spent endless nights working on final assignments with me, to mentors who continue to inspire and elevate my design practice.
My motivation to pursue Design
I’ve always been drawn to both structure and creativity: my interest in law, culture, and design all shaped who I am. At first, I saw design as just visuals. But over time, especially during the pandemic, I discovered how powerful it can be in shaping systems, behaviours, and even policy. I’m motivated by the idea that design can drive real change, especially in areas that often overlook it, such as law or public systems.
